Stonington Direction Warwick Field Direct Westerly Tourney Rul     Class E State Results    The results from the ISA Class E State tournament held this weekend at Clegg Field in Warwick RI saw 6 evenly matched teams enter the day under sunny skys and very hott conditions. The early rounds saw a new team to ISA play from Worcster Ma win a close game 9-8 over Apice Builders as another new team FAS was also beating Stravato's 17-11. Cape Cod tourney winner and top seed Hunter Yard Work ran into some hot bats losing to the Idiots 17-8 and eventually being knocked from the tournament by the Pizza Pocket 23-10. FAS from Woonsocket with some pickups from Smashmouth were now on a role sending Pizza Pocket into the losers bracket and also taking the winners final from the Idiots in a convincing fashion. The Idiots now down by 7 against the Pizza Pocket make a strong come back taking the losers final and face FAS in the finals but run out of gas with FAS winning the tournament. Please visit www.missouriisa.com and/or www.Illinoisisa.com for details. 2008 ISA Fastpitch World Series On Wednesday, July 15, the opening ceremonies for the 2008 Girls Fast Pitch World Series was held in Henry County, Georgia. There were many different teams in attendance from all over the US. A good time was had by all. There were multiple door prizes given away and a “get low dance off” with ISA Idol rocking the stage. The very handsome Blake Wise performed and made both the young and older lady’s hearts flutter. He put on a great show and signed autographs after the show. Everyone had a blast and was ready tot play some softball the next day.
